Pre-Kindergarten Program Western Christian Elementary uses the Horizons pre-kindergarten program, putting your child on the path to success. Development of readiness skills in reading and math ensure that your child is ready to move forward with confidence and success. Biblically-based lessons and hands-on learning activities give pre-kindergarten students an introduction to social studies, language arts, math, phonics, and science. Additional topics such as health & safety, arts & crafts, music, and physical education add variety and depth to this foundational curriculum. This program can be easily adapted to a variety of daily schedules and program objectives with a flexible organizational structure. Basic flashcards and other manipulatives are included in the resource packet.
Kindergarten Program Western Christian Academy provides Kindergarten Program program that consists of subjects such as Horizons Math Books 1 & 2 with Teacher’s Guide, LIFEPAC – 2 student books with Teacher’s guide, ABC’s with Ace & Christi – student book, score key, review manual, and CD with letter building songs, Alphabet flash cards, ABC’s of Reading student book and Teacher’s guide, Istation – computer-based learning with monthly assessment Istation video.
3rd-6th Grades Program 3rd-6th Grades Program includes Parent Teacher Booklet, Parent Teacher Online, Parent Teacher Combo, Online With Assistance, Online Teacher On Call. It also includes subject, they are:- Language Arts, Math, History & Geography, Science, Bible LIFEPAC.
7th Grade Program Western Christian Academy provides 7th Grade Program, this program includes:- Placement testing, 5 core subjects: Math, Language Arts, History/Geography, Science, Bible, Course counselor, support, and communication, Recordkeeping & reporting, Semester report cards, Assistant for grading and student messaging, Online program user guide and training videos, Achievement testing included.
8-12th Grade Program Western Christian Academy has 8-12th Grade Program, these program includes:- Placement testing, 6 Subjects: Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Theology, and an Elective, One-on-one teacher help/tutoring for all subjects, Course counselor support and scheduled communication, 4-year course projection for graduation if continuing, Whiteboard tutoring, Progress tracking, Engaging with students based on need through effective pedagogical practices, Communication access through email, phone, and instant messaging or video, The student’s home page has an efficient built-in lesson plan to keep students on track, Recordkeeping & reporting, Semester report cards. Electives subject such as:- Business Courses, Career and Technical Education (CTE) Courses, Honor courses, Language Courses, Language Arts Courses, Mathematic Courses, Science Courses, Social Science Courses, Other Courses.
