Silvies River Charter School is a regionally accredited school by NWAC and is a non-profit public charter school sponsored by the Frenchglen School District in Eastern Oregon. Our program is available to all students in Oregon. Students attend our school for free. While enrolled students may receive the use of a free laptop and all the support they need to be successful. We thank our families and students for their support and interest in our virtual school.

OdysseyWare Courses (3rd-12th) Web based education that's ideal for core curriculum, blended learning, alternative education and more. Facilitated credit recovery, remediation and textbook replacement. Students learn at their own place while engaged with links to videos and interactive content to enhance learning.
Edgenuity Courses (Grades 6-12) Edgenuity Courseware offers a full suite of over 200 core curriculum, AP®, honors, elective, dual credit, and concept and credit recovery courses. Our courses are built using an instructional model grounded in research and are Common Core, NGSS, and state-standards aligned.

NWAC Silvies River Charter School is a regionally accredited school by Northwest Accreditation Commission and is a non-profit public charter school sponsored by the Frenchglen School District in Eastern Oregon.

Specialities

The Senior Capstone Project is a hands-on learning experience to encourage students to demonstrate their skills gained in their K-12 schooling. The goal of the experience is encourage students to make connections to life beyond high school. We ask students to chose 1 of 3 strands: self-development, service learning, or career exploration.
