Answering the call of families across the state of Arizona, Sequoia Choice Arizona Distance Learning has provided flexible options in education since 1998.

Sequoia Choice provides students the best education possible by combining technology, certified and highly qualified teachers, and accredited curriculum that meets the Common Core and state standards. Because Sequoia Choice operates a number of state-wide programs, students are afforded personalized education, the right educational atmosphere, and flexibility needed to be successful.

Sequoia Choice is a free Arizona public charter school and Legal Educational Agency of Edkey, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Sequoia Choice was one of the original schools authorized by the Arizona Department of Education to provide distance learning services to Arizona students in grades K-12.

K-6 Curriculum Sequoia Choice Elementary curriculum aligns with the state standards and is designed to be easy for our families to use. Sequoia Choice Elementary curriculum are:- Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies.
Middle School & High School (grades 7-12) Middle School & High School Curriculum are:- Middle School: Full-time middle school students are expected to work in their courses for thirty (30) hours per week. A typical full-time middle school student will be enrolled in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. High School: Whether students attend high school at home or in one of our academic centers, high school students have many opportunities to experience success. We offer a variety of core and elective courses that can be taken online.

Specialities

Sequoia Choice Credit Recovery courses, students can make up graduation credit that they might have missed in a previous class. Students don’t even need to leave their current school! Since Credit Recovery students probably already have “seat time” in the subject, they can move quickly through a Sequoia Choice Credit Recovery course, focusing on earning credit based on competency in the subject.
