Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy (OVCA) is a public charter school authorized by the Statewide Virtual Charter School Board—and K12 make learning come alive for children just like yours. Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy is a leader in online learning, giving you and your family choice and flexibility in your child’s education. Together, we’re helping Oklahoma students in grades K–12 reach their true, personal potential.

K-8 Curriculum Throughout our K–8 course offerings, you will find certain recurring themes that build on the previous grade's teaching and weave an ever-richer tapestry of knowledge. Our six core courses—Language Arts/English, Math, Science, History, Art, and Music—are combined into a full-time schooling option. The lesson plans for each subject are integrated, so your child may be reading literature from the same time period as the art or history lesson she is studying.
High School Curriculum OVCA uses the K12 high school curriculum to serve our students in grades 9-12. The K12 High School Course Catalog is robust, offering more than 150 core and elective courses. K12 Math, Language Arts, Science, and History courses are offered to meet the needs of diverse learners with diverse goals. World Languages are offered as well. Students can chart their own course, choosing from among two levels of courses to match their aptitude and goals.

AdvancED Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy is proud to be accredited by AdvancED.

Specialities

K12 Advanced Placement (AP®) courses are college-level courses that follow curriculum specified by the College Board. Like K12 Honors courses, AP® courses require a greater degree of self-discipline for in-depth study of the subject.
