New Mexico Connections Academy (NMCA) is a tuition-free public online school serving students in grades 4–12. NMCA brings a fully accredited public education directly to your family’s door—anywhere in New Mexico.

The mission of New Mexico Connections Academy (NMCA) is to help each 4–12th grade student, throughout the state of New Mexico who needs an alternative to the traditional classroom for a particular time period, maximize his or her potential and meet the highest performance standards through a uniquely individualized learning programs, access to high quality NM-certified teachers, and high parental involvement. This mission will also include a school-with-in-a-school model with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Elementary School Courses Young minds require a solid foundation of knowledge to support future learning. In grades 4–6, our free online elementary school curriculum helps young students learn the basics, acquire study skills, and develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime. New Mexico Connections Academy’s online elementary curriculum stresses the fundamentals, and students focus on the core subjects: reading, writing, science, math, and social studies.
Middle School Courses New Mexico Connections Academy offers middle school courses(6-8), these courses have availability of subjects they are:- Health and PE, Humanities, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Technology, Elective Courses.
High School Courses New Mexico Connections Academy offers high school courses(9-12), these courses have availability of subjects they are:- Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Elective Courses.

Specialities

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses offered by Connections Academy schools allow students to combine both college preparation and real-world workforce skills development into one customized education program. CTE courses encourage students to explore and prepare for careers in finance, marketing, psychology, criminal justice, and more.
