For more than 96 years, we’ve been offering innovative course options for students of all backgrounds. High School Courses BYU Independent Study offers accredited high school courses online. Subjects available are English Language Arts, Fine Arts, Health and Physical Education, History and Social Science, Mathematics, Science, and World Languages. We also offer AP courses and high school electives.
Middle School Courses BYU Independent Study offers middle school courses online. Subjects available are English Language Arts, Fine Arts, Health and Physical Education, History and Social Science, Mathematics, Science, and World Languages. We also offer middle school electives.

Accreditation

NWCCU BYU is accredited as a Higher Educational Institution by Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).

AdvancED BYU Indedependent Study’s Secondary Educational Program is accredited by AdvancEd.

MSA-CESS BYU is also accredited by Middle States Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools
