Utah Connections Academy

My child has attended Utah Connections Academy for many years. It has drastically gotten worse since Ms. Taylor, Mrs. Samuell, and Mrs. Gromkow (who put a child’s life in danger for failure to report & has an official State Letter of Reprimand on her record while employed with UCA) has become the administration. The school is now a complete Nightmare! UCA has become the perfect example of how a school can do a 180 degree turn when a horrible administration sweeps through and reins down havoc. They are destroying what has potential for greatness and taking the students’ self-esteem, self-worth, and desire to learn down in flames. The administration uses scare/threat tactics to intimidate families into submission. Their goal is to build up the admin. team, turn a blind eye to incompetence, and break the students down through harassment and bullying. They do not care about education. They care about passing students whether they earn it or not, so data points look good for cooperate. Their leadership skills are beyond disturbing and the lack of care and concern shown toward the students is disgusting.
