Miami-Dade Online (MDO) Academy is a Miami-Dade County Public School offering students a comprehensive K-12 full-time virtual educational program providing, anytime, anywhere learning. This virtual and interactive learning environment is student-centered and academically individualized to build educational capacity. We service a diverse population of learners. This approach encourages students to be self-directed and take charge of their education. MDO Academy uses technology to maximize learning and ultimately empowers students to positively impact their world and become responsible citizens.

Middle School Courses Miami-Dade Online Academy offers middle school courses, these courses have availability of subjects they are:- Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Science, Advanced level courses.
High School Courses Miami-Dade Online Academy offers high school courses, these courses have availability of subjects they are:- Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Science, Advanced level courses, Honors Programs, Advanced Placement (AP), Programs.

Accreditation

AdvancED Miami-Dade Online Academy is proud to be accredited by AdvancED.

Specialities

Qualifying students may attend summer school. Criteria are set annually. It is the parent’s responsibility to enroll their child in the correct school for the summer. Students should enroll at the school serving their attendance boundary school. The student services counselor will provide guidance on the appropriate course
s and/or program for students.

Enables students to enroll in college courses and earn college credits at local institutions of higher education.
Miami-Dade Online currently partner with Miami Dade College allowing students to aim to earn an Associates of Arts degree from Miami Dade College.
Another institution of choice is Florida International University (FIU) and student are advised to follow courses based on FIU’s undergraduate core requirements.
