Orion High School is the Nation’s Premier Online High School. At our school, every learner is considered as an individual that deserves access to a high quality, flexible way to learn content in a rich, supportive online environment. By posing rigorous, challenging content in a meaningful way, our course content allows each individual learner to facilitate their own active learning. It is our mission to help learners achieve high school graduation and to produce high-performing individuals who excel no matter what they choose to do in life.

Courses

Grades 9-12 There are options available to get to the 26 credits at Orion High School. Those options are the Honors/AP Pathway, Advanced, International Studies Pathway, and General/Regular Pathway. Subjects available are English, Maths, Science, Social Sciences and other electives.
Grades 6-8 Learners in grades 6-8 that enroll full-time at Orion High School login and complete their coursework at Orion High School. Orion Middle School learners progress through four core courses and one elective each grade level at Orion Middle School. Honors courses are designated as such, on the transcript, and learners are required to be more vigilant in their studies.

Accreditation

Association of Christian Teachers and Schools Orion is accredited by the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools.

AdvancED Orion High School is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (Affiliated with AdvancED). With this accreditation, Orion's graduates are able to seamlessly apply and enter accredited colleges and universities both nationally and internationally.

Specialities

Educators can benefit from the flexibility of digital learning this year, too, by completing 1-2 month sessions for 12-24 CPE hours. Orion High School is an approved provider for continuing professional education for Texas teachers, and for our own mentors. Orion High School's registration provider number is #902-489, and is listed with the Texas Education Agency as an approved provider.
