Every School. Every Classroom. Every Student. Every Day.
Duval Virtual Instruction Academy (DVIA), is a Kindergarten – 12th Grade Duval County Public School (DCPS).
We provide a comprehensive option for families who approach education within their own home. With the flexibility to serve individual needs, we bring the innovation of 21st century learning to you.
Traditional home schooled students may take courses through our part-time program. DVIA also has a fulltime student option, which culminates in a DCPS high school diploma. Full-time DVIA students receive the same benefits of students enrolled in local schools, including access to live interaction with teachers, a school counselor, ESE services (as appropriate), report cards, accredited courses, and an annual graduation ceremony.
AdvancED Duval Virtual Instruction Academy is accredited through AdvancED.
Dual enrollment provides students in 11th and 12th grade the opportunity to enroll in postsecondary courses creditable toward high school completion and an associate or baccalaureate degree. To ensure the greatest relevancy toward a postsecondary degree, emphasis will be placed on courses within the general education core curriculum. Students must meet eligibility criteria specified in the Dual Enrollment Articulation Agreement (DEAA).
