Idaho Technical Career Academy (ITCA) is an innovative high school—the first of its kind in Idaho—for college and technical career-minded students. Powered by K12, our statewide online charter school is tuition-free, full-time, and serves students in grades 9–12. ITCA students gain exposure to relevant technical and specialty trade skills from courses built around four career paths: Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, Health Science, Information Technology, Marketing.

ITCA is a virtual career technical education charter school that provides an occupational sequence of instruction that will prepare Idaho students to obtain the necessary technical skills needed to succeed.

To create a virtual career technical education charter school that will provide an appropriately sequenced curriculum to equip students with the foundational academic and technical skills to enable them to pursue post-secondary education, achieve occupational certifications, or enter directly into the work-force.

K12 and Idaho Technical Career Academy (ITCA) understand that academically gifted students don't fit into a box—whether it's a classroom or a one-size-fits-all education program. Teaching gifted students is about challenging their minds and allowing them the freedom that comes from flexible, individualized learning using engaging curriculum—all of which we provide.

Students (grades 9–12) can now dual enroll in online career technical education (CTE) courses at Idaho Technical Career Academy (ITCA). It includes Agriculture, Business Management and Administration, Health Science, Web Design, Manufacturing.

Destinations gives students exposure to relevant technical and specialty trade skills from career technical education (CTE) courses built around four career fields, allowing them to explore occupations of interest. These engaging, content-rich courses expand the traditional education experience and maximize a student’s ability to succeed in the community and workforce. Successful completion of these courses may help students prepare for industry certification tests after graduation.* CTE courses are based on the knowledge and skills required for each career pathway in the following career fields: Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, Health Science, Information Technology, Marketing.
