Texas Online Preparatory School, a program of Huntsville Independent School District, challenges students to achieve their potential with a personalized program of engaging courses, caring teachers, and a vibrant school community. Texas Online Preparatory School and K12 give Texas kids in grades 3–12 the chance to learn in the ways that are right for them.

3-8 Curriculum The curriculum was created by a team of experts at K12 using proven instructional approaches. Our six core courses—language arts/English, math, science, history, art, and music—make for a rich comprehensive education. The lesson plans for each subject are integrated, so your child may be reading literature from the same time period as the art or history lesson she is studying. So a story about a king who lost his wife dovetails with an examination of the architecture and history of the Taj Mahal, built as a monument to a dead queen.
High School Curriculum The course catalog offers a variety of comprehensive, elective, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Math, English, science, and history courses are offered in multiple versions to meet the needs of diverse learners with diverse goals. Up to four levels of World Languages are offered as well. Students can chart their own course, choosing from among the three levels of courses to match their aptitude and goals.
