Nextide Academy is a fully accredited independent school offering courses for grades K–12, where dedicated teachers help students worldwide pursue their passion. We are now an AdvancEd accredited institution, an approved online provider for the state of Virginia and our K-12 Learning center in Purcellville, VA is a licensed facility offering STEM based after-school program and enrichment courses.

Middle School Nextide Academy middle school program for grades 6, 7 and 8 inspires, motivates and prepares students for success in high school and beyond. Through our carefully designed curriculum, we orient our students to a Problem Based Inquiry (PBI) approach, a student-centered pedagogy in which students learn about a subject through the experience of problem-solving. Our students have access to an award-winning curriculum made up of interactive, media-rich content that is rigorous, actively engages students at their own pace and has been proven to improve student achievement.
Standard American High School Diploma Nextide Academy offers the Standard Diploma to help make earning a high school diploma an attainable goal for students who want to enter the job market, the military, or a community or technical college after graduation. This path is made up of core courses and electives that are taught at a basic level allowing you to earn your high school diploma without being required to take any advanced math, science, or foreign language courses.
Advanced Studies American High School Diploma Students enrolled in the Nextide Academy’s Advanced Studies diploma program will participate in a unique academic program that includes rigorous math, science, and technology courses. The ultimate goal of the program is to subject our students to a STEM experience through our PBI courses guided by industry experts and thereby prepare for college readiness in science, medicine, engineering and math majors.

I can't recommend Nextide Academy online school enough

I love Nextide Academy! I transferred to this school from a well-ranked, large public high school in my area. I can truly say that I received a higher level of education at Nextide Academy. It allowed me to pursue my passions , while remaining committed to my studies. The enrollment process is seamless. It lets me do my school whenever and wherever I want.

We were looking for a fully accredited online private school with a PBI focus for our son who is a middle schooler and we found out about Nextide Academy. Our experience has been so far nothing but great. They offer amazing tailor-made curriculum based on individual need. My son loves the activities, presentations, quizzes that each unit contain and the best part is it lets him do school whenever and wherever he wants at his own pace. I suggest Nextide Academy to everyone who is looking for flexibility plus high standard education.
